SmartFile Launching A New Network Management Feature that Minimizes the "Snowden Effect" at Interop Las Vegas
SmartFile is introducing a new network management feature called FileHubTM to its on-premise file sharing appliance that will allow IT managers to monitor all file activity and manage network storage without added file redundancy.

SmartFile will launch FileHubTM, a new network storage feature for their on-premise file sharing and FTP appliance designed for enterprise and mid-size businesses seeking enhanced compliance and security, at Interop 2014 in Las Vegas. Utilizing SmartFile's proven technology and modern web interface, businesses can now manage files and users on-site.

Features include a fully documented RESTful API, Active Directory (or LDAP) integration, file and user activity audits, and a customizable web interface that can incorporate customers' branding and assigned helpdesk emails. Also included with each appliance are SmartFile's new desktop sync client and Microsoft Outlook Add-In to make managing data even easier.
SmartFile's on-premise solution also features an innovative pricing model. Each appliance bundles the cost of hardware, software and 24/7 support into an annual subscription, eliminating the need for customers to purchase the hardware or pay for ongoing software updates. Next-day onsite support is also included with FileHubTM.
